Entry #80: Fluttering Heart (Poem)

Your lips fall upon me like glistening rain on my skin.

With each drop sending shivers down my body.

A fierce wind blows in from the west.

Ushering my frail form into your arms.

When I am with you time has no meaning.

Our hearts beat together as our chests draw closer.

Your smell drives me wild

Yet calms me when I need you most.

I can’t help but dance with you as I listen to your voice, your laugh.

My heart is fluttering like the leaves sailing in the breeze.

May time never move again; may our hearts always beat as one.

Always together. Kiss me forever.
