Far in the north, the moon rises.
Darkness spreads beyond the horizon.
Moonlight is cast upon me.
Enveloping and embracing me.
Wrapping me in its cold arms.
Sinking its crooked teeth into my flesh.
I can feel the light piercing my veins.
Entering both wretched body and soul.
Flowing through it, with each heartbeat.
What once was hollow is now filled.
Flesh transformed under the moon.
A metamorphosis of the soul.
Blurring the lines of beginning and end.
Only the stars bear witness.
Gazing upon my rebirth in awe.
Porcelain skin forever frozen in time.
I rise with the moon, far in the north.
