Entry #51: There's No Light (Quiet Thoughts)

There's no light in me. I am the shifting shadows beyond reach, and the swirling madness out of sight, creeping from every crack, break, and scar. I'll suffocate everything inside you, and leave you hollow. I'll sink my teeth into you and never let go until there is nothing left to take. A dwindling flame is all that resides in me, something fragile, and fading. Something that gives little warmth, and shines no light. There's no light in me, and there's no light in you.
