Floating on the surface.

Teetering on the precipice of the deep.

Carve out my heart while I drift.

Fill the space between my ribs with lifeless flowers.

A hidden smile behind the darkness of the sky.

Poke holes in me so stars can shine through.

Watch me as I sink beneath the water.

Floating beneath the surface.
