Leave me be, and let me slip away out of sight.

Pass me by in a crowd, and pay me no mind.

Lose me among the trees, all with familiar faces.

Call to me when I am nowhere to be found.

Let me go, and traverse the light without me.

Beckon me to follow, and beg me to stay.

Recoil when I choose to remain in the dark.

Leave me be, and let me slip away into the night.
